Christmas Lunch & Downhill - 14th December
Christmas festivities start with the traditional Downhill
Competition on Tilburstow Hill, Godstone. Meet 10.45 for
11.00 at foot of hill. This is followed by a Christmas
lunch at The Bell PH, Godstone (please note change
of venue). Meet 12.00 for meal at 13.00. Full

AGM & Prize Presentation - 23rd November 7.00pm
for 7.30pm, Bletchingley Village Hall, 78 High Street,
Bletchingley. A free buffet will be provided throughout
the evening.

Presentation & Buffet - 8th November Venue booked,
menu agreed, guests invited. All that’s needed is
your company to celebrate club champions, trophy winners
and the year’s achievements by our riders.
The
Club President, Les Black, is in the chair with the evening
starting at 6.30pm for 7.00pm at Woodcote
Park Golf Club, Meadow Hill, Coulsdon, Surrey CR5 2QQ.

John Cleeve. Tickets cost £30.00 and include half
bottle of wine.
Mountain
Bike Championship - 2nd November This
year's Championship uses the Gorrick event at Crowthorne
Woods, near Finchampstead. Those intending to compete
for the championship should enter the Masters category
and the entry must be in name of the club. Any
kit can be used but club colours are perferred.
Inter-Club
Map Reading Competition - 26th October It's the Paragon's
turn to promote this year's event and Keith has sorted
out the course and venue. HQ will be the Plough
& Furrow PH Smallfield with a start time
of 10.00am. Keith normally likes to add a couple of hills
to the course so you can imagine where he will take you!

Pub Night - 26th September To be held at Red Lion
PH, Castle Street, Bletchingley from 8.00pm. Location

"12" Time Trial - 6th September This
annual event is held over 2 laps of the Crowhurst road
race circuit and now includes the new club Circuit Time
Trial Championship. There will be a trophy for the fastest
scratch time plus prizes for handicap winners. Keeping
a social element there will be something for the "past
masters" in the club. Start 10.30, western end of
Crowhurst Lane. Event followed by a pub lunch. Crowhurst

Handicap Championship - 31st August. The
club promotes this event on behalf of the Surrey Cycle
Racing League and will be using the Kirdford
circuit this year. Please contact Nigel Carpenter
with offers to help marshal or drive one the lead cars

TT - 19th August Evening TT Series Event 9 This is
the final event in the series and is on the Bletchingley
circuit. Start 19.30. Please let Dave Adams or Peter Ansell
if you are intending to ride.

the new gilets. Pre-ordered items have been reserved.

Club Hillclimb Championship - 5th August. Once
again this popular event for the Les Black Cup will be
held on Ranmore
Common Road, Ranmore Common, Dorking. Enter on the
line, start 19.45.

Anniversary Ride - 12th April A repeat of last year’s
successful ride. This easy ride is for all members out
to Headley via Epsom Downs to celebrate the club's 104th
birthday. Meet 10.00am Purley Library, lunch at the Cock
